What you'll do

This role will be the at the level of senior developer, responsible for maintaining the Atlassian suite products including Jira and Confluence along with commonly used plugins like Structure, rich filter, JEMH, etc. and supporting tools.
To succeed in this role, the potential candidate will need a solid background and success in developing tools with scripting languages and have a strong sense of customer centered support. This role requires someone who loves to troubleshoot complex problems and extract every bit of available data for performance optimization and debugging.

What you bring

• BE/B Tech/MCA/M Tech in a relevant discipline
• 3-8 years of experience working with JIRA, including extensive Jira administration and customization using scripts and plugins
• Proficiency in using Java Script, Groovy and Python for developing plugins, APIs and integrations
• Experience in developing and implementing custom workflows in Jira to match business needs
• Hands on experience installing, configuring, performance tuning, and maintaining Enterprise applications
• Ability to provide support in researching and evaluating technology, products, and solutions.
• Good understanding of three-tire software architecture with proficiency in at least one database and webserver
• Experience providing thought leadership in the area of design, development, implementation, and administration of Jira's Enterprise capabilities
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile development framework
• High level of ability to understand and communicate technical knowledge in a team environment
• Occasional travel (less than 10%)
